How long can i register a domain name for?

Domain names are governed by different bodies that make the rules on everything to do with their domain names. Each domain exstension is different:

You can register .au and .co.uk domain names for up to 2 years.

.com .net .org .info .name .biz .us can be registered for up to 10 years.
